As I approached retirement age, I felt the need to write down some of my life experiences.
Although you would not expect a software developer to be able to write anything other than cryptic gibberish, I had been taught linguistics in junior high school (syntax, semantics, sentence diagramming, etc.) and I paid attention in high school to grammar and wrote short stories for class assignments. Writing in my professional career continued with architecture and design documents as well as user guides and other other miscellaneous essays and treatises.
I found that I enjoyed writing and that I had things that I wanted and needed to write about. I hope that you will be informed, entertained, and amused by my stories.
